MA Expo: Yo quepo en el mundo, el mundo me ocupa a mi, 2026

Silos, metal, ceramic, exhaust, sinks, cement mixer, paint, hair

I didn't know I was hoping to make mass less massive, and depth deeper. I was not thinking of working on compression and release. I thought I could work on things that satisfy me, like getting silos from Facebook Marketplace and spending a few weeks removing the legs, paint, and motor of a yellow cement mixer.

Those are just excuses to make.

In the meantime, all this may mean something else.

A resting piece based on the silhouette of Miguel Adrovers dog.

I enjoy providing solutions for the mind. The most intuitive pieces are the ones that function as a resting moment. While a part of an attractive element is taken and reproduced in clay, the pressure of creating something new fades away and the brain does not feel tension, which helps in creating other pieces. There is a variety of motivations in the making process.

We had to come back 5 nights to drag the stone. The crane kept breaking.

Lat pulldown machine, 2024

Found metal, own bred flies, personal hair, plaster, cement, wood, fabric.

Grab the bar above you. Breath in. Make sure your head is nice and tall. And when you pull down, breath out. That is how you use the lat pulldown machine.
